complexity of the plan and the location of the home.
Turn Key: Owner/Builder: $110
to $135 per square foot, depending on how much work is done by the
homeowner.
Turn Key: Owner/Contractor: $120

and location of the home.
Turn Key: General Contractor: $125
to $250 per square foot depending on the complexity of the plan

2. How long does it take to build a log
home?
A general contractor can generally build
a log home in 5 to 9 months.
3. Does it cost
more for a custom floor plan?
No.
4. How long does it take to get blueprints?
Blueprints generally take 4 to
7 months to complete depending on how long the customer takes in
reviewing and changing the plan, the complexity of the home, the
building location, and the engineering requirements.
5. How long does it take to get a building
permit?
Building permits take 1 week to
8 months depending on the location.
6. HOW DO I ORDER A CENTURY CEDAR LOG HOME?
1.
Select one of our standard models, send us a sketch of the floor
plan you are interested in, or a plan form any plan book.
2.
Century Cedar Log Homes will contact you if there are any questions,
and respond with a quote. Both labor and materials packages can
be quoted so that your total construction cost can be estimated.
3.
If you are working with a local contractor, consult with him regarding
Century Cedar Log Homes building and material packages. We want
to work with your contractor, and we will provide him with any information
and assistance necessary to help build your log home.
4.
If you need a construction loan, we can help you determine the approximate
price of the home you are qualified to build. Ultimately your lender
will determine the final price home you can afford.
5.
Once you have determined your budget, Century Cedar Log Homes can
guide you to the best design that fits your budget.
6.
When you have selected a home plan that fits your needs, it is time
to start blueprints. The cost of the blueprints is listed in our
blueprint service section. A custom design will begin with a preliminary
drawing. Changes are made before the final drawings are completed.
7.
Once your construction blueprints are complete, you will be able
to get a commitment from your local builder and lender.
8.
A purchase contract from Century Cedar Log Homes detailing all labor
and material packages will be signed, and your deposit made.
9.
Delivery will be scheduled to coincide with the completion of the
foundation and subfloor.
10.
A "Final Payment" invoice will be sent to you prior to
the delivery of your log home. This can be taken to your lender
for preparation of the cashier's check due upon delivery. The Final
Payment invoice shows all payments received and the balance due.
11.
Materials and services will be delivered per your contract.
